Yakima Deckhand Premium Rooftop Kayak Saddles

Description

Yakima Deckhand Premium Rooftop Kayak Saddles (4; two pair).  These are made to fit SUV rooftop racks, but we used them on a kayak/canoe trailer.  You use them in pairs, fore and aft on the boat. They come with adapters to fit either oval-ish or round crossbars.
Yakima recommends 24" minimum distance between the fore and aft pairs of saddles, with a maximum boat weight of 80 lbs.  You can carry more weight than that, but the saddles will deform temporarily under greater weight.  They'll reshape themselves once the weight has been removed.
