Because the Edison Brother Stores, Inc. was in the shoe business since 1922, we believe this product started out to be just for the cleaning of shoes and then expanded to all dry cleanable fabrics. The lavendar cap is even metal on this rare gem. A cool piece of advertising! Just 5-1/3" tall and about 2 inches wide. It once held 4-1/2 ounces of cleaner.
