Vintage Weather-Bird Shoes Unused 8-pack Crayons Red Rooster Weather Vane (3)

Description

Hi! For sale is an 8-pack of crayons for Weather-Bird Shoes. "Good Looking Shoes For Boys And Girls". Has a nice red rooster on a weather vane on the front. No indication as to who manufactured these crayons or where. The box has darkened with age, especially the back which at one time was bright white. The box is MUCH darker than the photos indicate-- front is almost a dried-blood red. Edge rubbing, some very small tears, top tab is a bit loose. Strangely, this box contains ALL brown crayons! The poor child who received this must have been pretty disappointed! As you can see in the photo, most of the crayons have melted at the tips. Although rather shabby, it still has an appealing display look about it. Please view all of the photos. Thanks for looking!
