  • Condition: See Photos. Comes from an immaculately clean nonsmoking home. Tested. Works great. Fantastic patina. No cover. Cloth cord. Hand painted with the name of the business. Found at the Crouse estate sale here in Raleigh, NC. We also found a Clyde Ellsworth "Buck" Crouse (MLB Chicago White Sox 1923-1930) baseball glove in the estate sale as well (posted to eBay in a separate listing). Some research on Ancestry shows that this clock and business was owned by James W. and Mary Crouse House who lived at 409 W. Second Avenue, just down the street from the Shoe Repair shop. We have tried to link the Buck Crouse family (all in Indiana) to the North Carolina Crouse family but had no luck. A very cool one-of-a-kind American Folk Art clock with a possible connection to the MLB. Approx 12" across. Seller Lot #22040-CALT.
