Rare 1929 B F Goodrich Rubber Footwear Color Litho Advertising Calendar 14X20

Description

You're bidding on a rare, vintage-to-antique calendar - a 1929 flip calendar with color litho graphics - 14" X 20" size. Published by the B.F. Goodrich Rubber Company, it focuses on their shoe production - probably for merchant use/display, the top sheet is a New Year's letter from the company - followed by 12 pages of monthly calendar. The graphics are quite striking, depicting the harvesting and mining of raw materials rubber, sulphur, cotton & wool - in a way suggestive of the imperialist reach of the company around the world - as well as some of the factories and plants. These images are flanked by pictures of their various shoe products of the period.
Note some issues of condition - some edge bumping/chipping/corner creasing, as well as some foxing/spotting to varying degrees - primarily along the bottom. Also a bit creased/bent horizontally from being rolled up. Complete, though, and still quite appealing - very clean for age and type in the graphic areas. Rare to find in any condition.
