Baseball Play-offs Special !Up for auction is this original, lot of five excellent condition laminated commemorative souvenir sheets marking the centennial of the day Jack Chesbro, of the New York Highlanders set the Major League Baseball record for the most pitching wins in a season; 41. Three are uncut sheets of three bookmarks commemorating the achievement showing two designs on heavy beige stock. Another is a unique, three quarters red bordered thin white sheet, canceled at North Adams October 7, 2004, Chesbro's birthplace, on the centennial of the event. The red double circle month-day-year-town cancel is complete but indistinct on a well centered stamp of clouds.
