    This button hook unfolded measures just under four and a quarter inches in length and folds up to just under two and three quarters inches in length, perfect for

    as stated below the makers mark pictured above. The metal it a type of steel which a magnet does stick to all of it. The overall condition of this old advertising shoe hook is good, it's has a good working friction hinge that keeps it either in the all the way open position or closed position. The manufacturer Mark is a scripted V inside a circle and imprinted below is PAT APL'D.
