It appears to be in excellent condition besides the missing thumb screw and maybe a few minor scratches.  It was from an estate, so I don't know how much if any it was used.

The QS was an early Custom Brackets design for square and 6x7 format cameras, and it is no longer available from the manufacturer.  So this is a good opportunity to obtain this original system with the original box!  It was originally purchased at a camera shop in Nashville, TN for 9.95.  It has a fixed, non-rotating camera platform with a built-in quick release that accepts camera mounting plates for a variety of cameras.  It also has an adjustable
stained wooden
left-handed handle.
The QS utilizes (3) quick release options, though these require additional plates or brackets to be purchased separately:  flash-to-bracket, camera-to-bracket, and bracket-to-tripod.
It requires an optional flash mounting plate (except for Metz 45/50/60/70/76 series flashes) and a Quick-Release Plate for your camera and tripod if you plan on using it with a tripod.
