AR500 Steel Target 12X20 with Stand and Hanger

Description

You are purchasing one complete steel target stand, includes the base and target hanger (upper portion). Also included is one 12X20" 2/3 IDPA Silhouette, AR500 3/8" steel gong target. Actual target size is 11.75" X20.
The stand base is 23"X18". The base is shipped in three pieces, hardware included for assembly. The target hanger (upper portion) includes all hardware. The bolt is a 1/2" grade 5 bolt with a lock-nut, heavy duty spring included. A 1/2", 1.5" long grade five bolt and lock-nut is also provided to secure the target to the forward cant bracket. The stand base is constructed of mild steel, not AR500.
The forward cant bracket will allow an approx 15 degree forward cant of the target.
The stand may be staked to the ground through the 4 holes on the stand base. 10" or larger landscaping spikes are recommended, not included.
The stand base and upper portion mount to a 2X4 board. 2x4 is not included.
The provided bolt is a grade 5 bolt but will sustain damage with repeated hits. Replace hardware as necessary.
All target steel is AR500, certified at a Brinell hardness of atleast 500.
Targets are cut using a CNC plasma system.
Minimum rifle distance from target-100 yards. 100 yards is sufficient for some .223 and .308 ammunition. Calibers and ammunition with higher muzzle velocity require increased distance to impact in order to minimize target damage.
For muzzle velocities 3000 FPS or higher (including .223) increased distance of 200 yards is recommended to minimize target damage. Magnum calibers and muzzle velocities over 3400 FPS- 300-400 yards is recommended. Long range cartridges, e.g. .338 Lapua, .50 cal are not recommended.
Minimum recommended pistol distance from target 15 yards.
Targets are painted white. Paint over bullet splatter as necessary for continued visualization of the bullet strike. Either side of the target may be used.
Hanging the target face pointed slightly downward will help direct bullet splatter down and reduce the risk of injury.
Never shoot steel core, eg, M855, bi-metal, armor piercing, or other hardened ammo at steel targets.
WARNINGS:
*Shooting steel targets can be dangerous, there is always a chance of ricochet!
*Always wear safety glasses, and appropriate clothing. Bullet fragments can be directed towards shooters or spectators.
*Never shoot steel core, bi-metal, armor piercing, or other hardened ammo at any steel target.
*Never use ammunition that travels below 750 fps. Ammunition that travels over 3000 fps may cause target damage.
* Always stand at least 100 yards from the target when using rifle calibers or shotgun slugs.
* Always stand at least 15 yards from the target when using handgun calibers.
*Do not shoot at any target that is bent, cratered or damaged in any way.
*Use steel targets at your own risk.
