Has matching Kozuka, also includes a brass Kogai, probably added. Papered by the NBTHK as to quality and originality. The papers indicate the high quality and deem this piece, "worthy of preservation" (See paper translation below). Blade is in excellent polish. A few spots towards the front of the blade, but nothing at all major (photos). I do not know much more about this tanto, other than it is a beautiful piece I have owned for over a decade.
