    Description

    You're looking at a rare - and possibly one-of-a-kind, early hand-painted
    Star Brand Shoes
    advertising sign dating to approx 1920s - 1930s. The company started in 1898 and this large piece we believe may have come out of their St. Louis headquarters.
    This piece just came out of a private collection and hasn't been on the market in several decades. The hand painted metal sign is in great shape with no major scuffs or damage and the original wood frame is sturdy and solid. It's hard to make out but on the rear of the sign it's written in pencil something about the sign being from - something - in St Louis, MO.
    This wonderful item shows wear commensurate with age but is spectacular in its originality.
    Structurally, it's solid and ready to be enjoyed.
